Are carbon plate shoes really worth the $250 or just marketing hype?
I've been hearing a lot about carbon plate shoes lately, especially for running. Some runners swear by them, claiming they improve their times and make races feel easier. But then I wonder, is it just clever marketing? I want to invest in my gear, but I'm hesitant to drop $250 on shoes that might not deliver on their promises. Has anyone tried them and can share their experience? Are they truly beneficial for races, or should I stick with my usual pair?
