Tracking My Calories - Losing 5 lbs in 4 Weeks, What's Next?

TL;DR: Lost 5 lbs in 4 weeks using MacroFactor and tracking calories, looking for tips on plateaus.

Hey fam! I've been on my calorie tracking journey for about a month now, and im super pumped to share that I've lost 5 lbs! I've been using MacroFactor and it's been solid for keeping me on track. I weigh my food and measure everything, which I thought would be annoying but honestly helps a ton. I started with a TDEE of 2,200 and I'm aiming for about 1,700 calories a day. Feeling good, but any tips for breaking through plateaus? I'm ready to crush it even harder!

You could also check your training intensity. If you're doing the same workouts at the same weights, you might be leaving some gains on the table. Progressive overload is key!

Congrats on the progress! To break through plateaus, consider cycling your calories or adjusting your macros slightly. A small tweak can sometimes ignite those stubborn pounds.

Plateaus can be super frustrating. Have you thought about taking a diet break? Sometimes just a little increase in calories can help reset your metabolism. Just be mindful not to go overboard

Facts, man! When I cut, I found that switching up my cardio really helped. I went from steady-state running to HIIT, and it made a big difference in my weight loss!

Low-key disagree with the idea of drastically cutting calories. You might end up losing muscle instead of fat. A more balanced approach can help maintain strength while losing weight

I get where you're coming from, but sometimes reducing calories a bit can spark some fat loss. Just have to be careful with protein intake and avoid going too low.

Lol, just don't forget to enjoy the process! If you treat yourself to a cheat meal occasionally, it can actually help with adherence. Balance is key to a sustainable journey.

Dude, that's sick! Have you tried incorporating some bodyweight exercises into your routine? They can really ramp up your metabolism while you're cutting. Plus, they're fun.

Also, make sure you're hydrating enough. Sometimes your body can hold onto water weight if you're not drinking enough. Keep that water bottle handy!
