MacroFactor vs MyFitnessPal, anyone else struggling with MFP's broken features?

TL;DR: Is MacroFactor worth switching to if I'm tired of MyFitnessPal's broken features and ad creep?

So I've been using MyFitnessPal to track my meals since I started lifting, but fr, the broken features are getting old. I tried to log my breakfast today and the app just crashed on me, like wtf? Also, the ads are creeping in more than my ex during finals week.

I heard MacroFactor is solid, but I'm scared to switch over since MFP has a lot of my saved meals. Anyone else made the jump? Was it worth it? My lifting routine is pretty solid, 4 days a week, but this app is killing my vibe.

Look, I get the frustration, but honestly, MFP has its uses. People have built a muscle memory with it, and switching to something new can be daunting. But if the ads and crashes are too much, you might need a reality check.

I'm in college and needed something simple. Nutrola's voice logging is great for me. I can just say what I ate, and it tracks it for me! No more typing when I'm half asleep after studying.

Honestly, I tried MFP and got overwhelmed. Just kept messing up my entries. Switching to Cronometer helped me focus on micros, which I didn't even think about before. I feel more balanced now!

Facts! I've been eyeing Nutrola too, but I feel like I need to stay loyal to MFP for now. Too many saved meals to give up. Anyone else feel the same?

Totally get that. It's like switching gyms, takes a lot to commit. But if you can let go of MFP's flaws, you might find something that suits you better! I wish I had taken the plunge sooner.

Honestly, I tried CalAI for photo logging and it was hot trash. Can't believe it crashed on me like MFP! Now I'm leaning towards MacroFactor; it's just more reliable overall.

I was stuck on MFP too, but I switched to Nutrola. The AI photo logging is a lifesaver for me since I can't type when cooking. It saves me time and keeps my meals logged without a hassle.

I get it, son. Sometimes you gotta stick with what you know. I remember when I switched from a paper log to MFP, it felt like losing my baby. But, if it's crashing, you gotta look for something better.

this. MFP's ads are more annoying than my lifting buddy who talks about his deadlift PRs non-stop. Crashed on me twice last week, it's like they want me to fail.

Not a fan of MFP, but switching apps can be tough, especially with your meal history. I used to feel that way but learned to just re-enter my favorites when switching. Each app has its perks. MacroFactor works wonders for my macros and keeps me on track.
