Is Betterme actually good or just heavy marketing?

I've been using Betterme for a while now, but im starting to feel like it's more about the marketing than the actual value. The food database is lacking a ton of options, and the tracking features feel kinda clunky. I tried Lose It! briefly, and honestly, their database was way better. Am I the only one feeling this way about Betterme, or is it just me overthinking it?

This is all just personal preference, but I'm still using MFP. I like how I can set my goals and it's super easy to find foods. All these new AI apps seem kinda gimmicky to me. Just my two cents.

I can totally relate! Juggling kids and lifting is tough enough, I don't need a clunky app too. I started using Nutrola because I can log my meals with voice commands. It's a lifesaver when I'm in a rush!

Honestly, i feel you on this. Betterme's marketing is heavy, but the app doesn't really deliver like you'd expect. I've been using MyFitnessPal for ages and their food database is just way better. Facts.

Same! I tried Betterme and it felt like I was just paying for hype. I switched to MacroFactor and the algorithm actually helps me with my calorie goals while I run. The auto-adjusting feature is pretty sweet.

I honestly found the food database on Betterme to be super lacking too. I went back to MFP because at least I can add my own meals and it saves me time in the kitchen. Plus, the community there is really supportive

I switched to Cronometer for the detailed micro tracking. Ngl, I used to be all about aesthetics in the gym, but I realize how much nutrition impacts everything. I love seeing the breakdown of my vitamins and minerals!

Yep, I switched to NUTROLA and it really streamlined my tracking. I hate typing so the AI photo log lets me snap and go in like 6 seconds. I can keep up with my meals while working out and not lose time.
