I just hit a 50 lb loss milestone! Looking for tips to keep the momentum going.

TL;DR: Hit a 50 lb weight loss milestone in 6 months and looking for tips to maintain progress.

I'm beyond excited to share that I've officially lost 50 lbs since starting my journey six months ago! My starting weight was 220 lbs, and I'm currently at 170 lbs. It's been a transformative experience for me, not just physically but mentally and emotionally as well. I've really embraced a holistic approach, focusing on nourishing my body while incorporating regular movement into my routine.

As part of this journey, I've integrated a blend of strength training and mindful practices. I lift weights 3-4 times a week, focusing on compound movements, and I also make time for yoga and meditation to keep my mind centered. I've been tracking my progress through photos and journaling, which has helped me stay accountable and celebrate small victories along the way.

I've attached some before and after photos for you all to see my progress. The changes in my body are pretty incredible, but I'm also feeling a sense of empowerment that I never had before. Now that I've hit this milestone, I'm looking to sustain my progress and continue improving. If anyone has tips or experiences to share about maintaining weight loss, I'd love to hear them. How do you keep that motivation alive? What practices have helped you?

Sending lots of love to everyone on their own journeys! Remember, it's not just about the scale, but about how we feel and nurture ourselves.

Congrats on your 50 lb loss! That's an amazing milestone. To keep your momentum, try to focus on mindfulness and listen to your body. i practice gratitude journaling every day, which helps me stay centered and appreciate the progress I've made. Remember, it's a journey, and nurturing your mind is just as important as your body. Maybe explore new workouts or meditation styles to keep things fresh!

100! I tried using MyFitnessPal before but honestly, it felt like too much effort. I didn't like how the app just kept pushing me to upgrade for basic features. I've been thinking of switching to something like MacroFactor since I've heard great things about the algorithm. Just trying to find the best fit for me.

This is awesome! Losing 50 lbs is no joke. I always involve my kids in workouts, like family bike rides or dance-offs in the living room. Keeps it fun and motivates everyone! Plus, it helps with accountability, since I can't bail on them, lol.

Facts! You've put in the work and deserve to celebrate. As for motivation, I like to switch up my workouts to keep things exciting. Sometimes I even try silly dance workouts just for fun! And hey, it's super important to appreciate your body at every stage. Remember, you're building a stronger, healthier you.

Well done on your achievement! i've been on a similar journey and found that meal prepping really helps. I started using Nutrola because the photo logging is a lifesaver for my busy schedule. I can log my meals in under 6 seconds, which is perfect when I'm juggling a lot. It has really helped me stay consistent without the stress of typing everything out.
