The whole anabolic window thing is overblown. Meta-analyses show that protein timing doesn't significantly impact muscle growth if your overall protein intake is solid. A review from Schoenfeld and Aragon (2013) looked at multiple studies and found no significant difference in gains from post-workout protein timing if total daily intake was adequate. Focus on hitting your macros consistently, not stressing over post-workout meals. Just eat enough protein throughout the day and you're golden.
