What's the best free TDEE calculator that actually considers muscle mass?

TL;DR: Looking for a free TDEE calculator that considers muscle mass.

I'm tired of these calculators just spitting out random numbers. I want something that recognizes my gains and doesn't underestimate my plant-powered gains! Anyone found a solid free TDEE calculator that factors in muscle mass? MyFitnessPal's not cutting it for me.

Just a heads up, TDEE calculators are estimates, and many just plug in height, weight, and age. I track my calories and macros manually, adjusting based on my weekly progress instead of relying solely on a calculator. It gives me more control

Why do we even trust these calculators? I've been lifting for years, and they still underestimate my calories. I just eat until I feel full, but I guess that's not for everyone.

Low-key, I don't get why people stress so much about TDEE. I just stick to my keto meal plan and track my macros. Sure, I don't track muscle mass, but my strength keeps improving, so I don't worry about it. 馃

I totally get it, but tracking doesn't have to be rigid. I aim for a balance. I use an app but also listen to my body. If I feel drained, I adjust my intake. It's all about finding what works for you.

I hear you! I hate when calculators don't consider muscle mass. I found this app called MacroFactor that takes more variables into account, including muscle mass and activity level. It really gets my plant-powered gains.

If you're looking for accuracy, try Cronometer. It's more detailed than MyFitnessPal, and u can log your muscle mass manually. I used it for a while and found it to be pretty precise, especially when tracking different micronutrients

You might also want to check out Strong, it factors in your body composition too. Plus, they have cool workout tracking features! I tried it and really liked how it accounts for muscle gains, especially on a vegan diet.

Facts! I used MyFitnessPal for a bit, but it felt off. I switched to a combination of Cronometer and manual logging for more control. Plus, meal prep helps me stay on track! I love making protein-packed pancakes with chickpea flour, it's a game changer.

^^^ that's a bit of a cope. TDEE calculators can be useful when used correctly. I use one to adjust my intake based on training cycles. For me, knowing my TDEE helps set realistic targets, especially when prepping for a meet
