Lower back always screaming after squats, what am I doing wrong?

So, every time I squat, my lower back feels like it's auditioning for a horror movie. I'm not lifting crazy heavy (just 185 for reps), but it's like my back's throwing a tantrum. My form feels decent, back straight, knees out, but maybe I'm missing something obvious. Anyone else been through this hell? What fixes have you tried?

nah, bro, squats ain't for everyone. have you thought about bodyweight squats or different variations like goblet squats? you can build strength without putting too much strain on your back.

lmao, sometimes it feels like your back is auditioning for a horror movie, for real. but fr, if you're feeling that much pain, maybe switch it up with some leg presses or deadlifts. pizza's still a thing, don't let your back ruin leg day or your cheat meal!

bro, sounds like your back's just trying to tell you something. maybe you're leaning too far forward? keep that chest up and focus on your hips. if it still hurts, consider some lighter squats or work on mobility first.

this. recovery matters. have you tried foam rolling or stretching after your workouts? tight hip flexors or hamstrings can mess with your squat form. maybe incorporate some mobility drills into your routine!

100%. back pain is often a form issue. make sure your squat depth is right for you, don't force it. also, consider including some core work, strong abs help stabilize during squats. I'd also check your footwear, proper shoes make a difference.
