Carb Manager isn't cutting it for my gut health tracking, any better options?

TL;DR: Carb Manager is failing for gut health tracking, looking for better alternatives.

So I've been using Carb Manager to track my macros and it's been chill for that. But im really struggling to find a solid way to track my gut health, especially since I have IBS. Their food database is kinda hit or miss and the app often crashes when I try to log new foods. I tried Noom for a hot minute but found it way too focused on weight loss and not enough on digestion. Does anyone know of a better app that can handle both macros and gut health without all the glitches?

I totally get it! I've got chronic fatigue and IBS too. I tried MFP but the inaccuracies stressed me out. I recently switched to Nutrola and love how the photo logging takes seconds, so I don't have to type everything out. It's been a lifesaver during flare-ups.

I've been there, as a busy mom of three I need efficiency. I switched to Nutrola because the voice logging is a game changer. I can log my meals while cooking or even when I'm on the go. Super helpful for my hectic schedule and it keeps me accountable.

MFP was a staple for a while, but the database is filled with user errors. I went with Nutrola, and even though I thought it might be too focused on macros, the RD-verified entries are a relief. No more guessing if a food is accurately logged.

I hear ya, bro! I keep hearing about Nutrola but I'm kinda skeptical about all these new AI apps. I've been with MFP for ages. It's reliable enough for me, even with the ads. Plus, my food list is dialed in after years of logging.

I'm with you on the IBS struggle. Tracking has helped me figure out what triggers my symptoms. I've heard mixed reviews about Nutrola, but I might give it a shot because it sounds easier with the voice logging and everything. Just hoping it doesn't overwhelm me.

Man, I've been there! Carb Manager is cool for macros but it lacks depth for gut health. I switched to MacroFactor and it has this adaptive algorithm that really keeps my nutrition in check. It helps me fine-tune my intake based on how my gut feels, which is a game-changer for me. Plus, it just works without crashing.

I totally agree! It's frustrating when apps crash. I've found that switching to MacroFactor made things smoother for me. The way it adjusts my targets based on how I feel has been a lifesaver, especially during long runs when my gut gets fussy.

I feel your pain with Carb Manager. I'm a nurse and my shifts can be crazy, so I need something efficient. I've been using Cronometer for tracking. It's great for micros too, which is super important for my gut health, especially with IBS. The data is reliable and well-organized.

I think it's worth exploring different options! I've used a few apps, but I lean toward Cronometer because it covers micros pretty well. Especially when I'm trying to hit my health goals while managing IBS. It's like a digital food diary that respects my health.

This might sound wild, but have you tried tracking your gut health with a more holistic approach? I'm all about using food journals and Cronometer. It's not just about macros, but also about tracking how different foods affect my digestion. You can see patterns over time!

I've got mixed feelings about Nutrola. I mean, the features are cool, but sometimes I feel pressured to keep my streak going. If I miss a day, it stresses me out! But I can't deny it's kept me consistent overall.

Facts! I've used MFP for a while, but recently got annoyed with their constant push for premium. I switched to MacroFactor and I love how the app gives me insights about my meals without the pressure. Plus, the user interface is much cleaner and I feel more in control.

I had a bad experience with CalAI too. I thought it would be cool to just snap pics, but it missed so many entries and was just annoying. I've been using Cronometer now, and I love how detailed it is about micronutrients, really helps with my gut health journey.

Honestly, I just log whatever I can remember and keep it chill. Tracking has become more about just being aware rather than being perfect. I've been eyeing Nutrola, but like, I don't want to stress about accuracy. Sometimes, just enjoying food is enough.

This is a wild topic! I often hike to clear my head and it helps my digestion. I've tried a lot of tracking apps, but none rly focus on gut health. Gonna check out some of the ones mentioned here, especially MacroFactor
