Cronometer is a pain for tracking protein only, anyone else feel this?

So I'm using Cronometer to track my protein intake because, let's be real, I lift heavy and need to get my gains. But every time I try to log my food, I get bombarded with the calories and all the other macros I couldn't care less about right now. Like, I just want to know if I've eaten enough chicken, not how many carbs I've consumed.

I tried Yazio for a hot minute, but they were all about the meal plans and that's just not my vibe. Anyone else running into the same issues with Cronometer or found an app that lets you just obsessively focus on protein? Asking for a friend, who is definitely me.

Facts, man! Cronometer is like, all about the macros when I'm just trying to load up on protein. I need to know how many grams of chicken I'm crushing, not the carbs in my rice!

I hear you, I switched to Nutrola for the photo logging feature. Takes like 2 seconds to log my meals without typing out every little detail. Super helpful when I'm in a rush, which is always.

I used Cronometer for a while too, but it can be overwhelming. I switched to MacroFactor, and honestly, the algorithm just works for me. It gives me my protein targets and doesn't drown me in extra numbers. Worth every penny.

I get the frustration, but I actually like MyFitnessPal. I've got my food list dialed in and it saves me time. I know the ads are annoying, but for me, the muscle memory from years of logging makes it easier. Not everyone needs a new app every few months

Lol, i tried Yazio too, and it was all meal plans. Not my style either. But hey, if you want something that focuses on just the essentials, Nutrola's recipe browser is pretty sweet. I found some quick high-protein recipes filtered to my goals.
