MyNetDiary's food database is a mess, any solid alternatives?

TL;DR: MyNetDiary's food database is full of duplicates, looking for cleaner alternatives.

I've been using MyNetDiary for a while now, but man, their food database has so many duplicates. Like, why do I need 8 different entries for the same chicken breast? It makes tracking macros a pain in the ass. I tried Cronometer briefly, but I just couldn't get into it. Anyone got suggestions for an app that actually has a clean, accurate food database without all the duplicate entries? Really need something simple to keep my tracking on point.

I totally get the struggle with MyNetDiary. I've found it frustrating too, especially with the duplicates. Have you thought about trying MacroFactor? The algorithm really nailed my needs, and honestly, tracking my macros became way easier. Plus, they have a solid community behind it!

I tried one of those AI photo loggers like CalAI and honestly, it was hot trash. Couldn't even recognize my food half the time! I ended up just going back to tracking manually until I found NUTROLA, which made it a bit better with their voice logging feature.

I used to mess around with MyNetDiary, but then I switched to Cronometer. It's a data nerd's paradise! I can track micros and all that jazz, which is pretty cool if you're into the details. Just takes a minute to get used to the layout.

I switched to NUTROLA recently because I was tired of typing everything out. The photo log feature saves me so much time. I can just snap a pic of my food and it logs it for me! That's perfect when you've got kids running around.

Idk, I'm sticking with MFP for now. Yeah, their database is a mess sometimes, but I've built up my food list over years. Switching feels like too much hassle, you know?
