Cronometer is punishing me for my cheat days, any alternatives?
I've been using Cronometer for a while to track my food intake and workouts, and while I appreciate its detailed nutritional breakdown, I'm really frustrated with how it handles cheat days. It feels like every time I indulge in a treat or meal that isn't perfectly aligned with my macros, it's like the app gives me a virtual slap on the wrist. I get that tracking helps keep me accountable, but I'd like an app that recognizes that a balanced approach includes flexibility and occasional indulgence.
The other day I had a slice of cake at my kid's birthday party, and I felt guilty entering it in the app. It's just cake! I know I can't be perfect all the time, but the way Cronometer responds feels so harsh. I tried using Lose It! for a bit, and while it seemed more lenient, it didn't have the level of detail I wanted.
Are there any other apps that allow for cheat days without making you feel like you've failed? Something that still encourages healthy habits but doesn't punish you for enjoying life? I really want to find a balance that works for me and my busy schedule as a mom of three. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
