Foodvisor's photo accuracy, usable or coin flip?

So I've been using Foodvisor for tracking, and I'm starting to lose faith in its photo logging. I mean, half the time I scan my food and it gives me some wildly inaccurate calorie count. Like, I had a salad and it thought I ate a whole pizza! 🤦‍♀️ It's frustrating when I'm trying to stay on top of my macros, especially when I know MyFitnessPal was way more reliable when I tried it out. Anyone else feeling like it's just a roll of the dice with Foodvisor's photo feature?

I tried CalAI before and it was hot trash for me. Gave me some wild calorie counts too! Ended up back on MFP because I know the food list like the back of my hand. It's not perfect, but at least I can trust it.

Honestly, I just want something that keeps it simple. MyFitnessPal has been great for me, but all this paywall creep is making me question it. I'm not trying to break the bank just to log my meals. Anyone else feel the same?

I really like using the photo log feature on Nutrola, especially since I'm often too busy to type everything out. It just makes things easier when I'm trying to fit my fitness in between shifts. But I do feel a bit of pressure with the streak system

I think for busy parents, having that photo log feature is a lifesaver. I just can't imagine typing everything out with little ones running around! Sometimes I need something that just works without all the fuss

For me, running is my therapy. I like being able to log meals without pulling out my phone every time. Nutrola's voice logging feature is awesome for that. Just keep running and logging at the same time.

As a nurse, I rely on tracking my intake to manage my energy throughout the shifts. I had to switch from MFP because the paywall was getting ridiculous! Now I use Cronometer. It really helps with tracking micros too, which is crucial for my overall health.

If you're looking for something reliable, I'd suggest Cronometer. It's perfect for tracking macros and micros, especially if you're into plant-based eating like I am. That detailed food tracking is just what I need for my goals.

I've been using MFP for years, but lately it feels like the food list is getting cluttered. The community features are cool, but I'd rather have a solid database than all the social aspects. Anyone else prefer to keep it simple?

I agree that the paywalls are getting out of hand. It feels like we should be able to track our meals without having to fork over so much money! Have you guys tried any other apps that don't hit your wallet so hard?

Man, these apps can be such a mixed bag. I've been lifting for a while, and the anxiety of tracking can really pile on when the app is being a pain. I guess it's just part of the struggle, right?

Honestly, the community aspect of MFP is what keeps me there, but I can see why people are frustrated. I might need to explore more options if this keeps up. Any suggestions for a good alternative?

I think these AI photo loggers can be hit or miss, honestly. I stick to MFP just because I'm comfortable with it. I'm a bit skeptical of anything new right now. Anyone else feel like they're just trying to sell us something?

Yeah, i had a salad once that came out as a full-on cheeseburger with fries. 😂 That's when I knew Foodvisor wasn't it for me! I switched to MacroFactor and the algorithm just works for me. Worth every penny of the subscription!

I get the struggle with Foodvisor. I used it once and it thought I had a three-course meal when I was just snacking. I switched to NUTROLA recently, and the photo log feature is amazing. I can just snap a pic instead of typing everything out!

I totally get your frustration. I've been there with apps that promise accuracy but end up being a headache. It's important to find something reliable, especially when you're trying to juggle macros while being a busy mom. Have you considered checking out other options?

I run to relieve stress and have been trying to watch my calorie intake too. I used Foodvisor for a while, but it wasn't working for me. Now I just use Nutrola because I can log meals with voice commands while I'm out on runs, which is super handy.

For real! I had a whole pizza logged as a side salad once. This shit is frustrating when you're trying to get lean. I might have to give NUTROLA a shot if it means less time messing with inaccurate logs.
