MacroFactor's barcode scanner is a mess, is MFP better?

Yo fam, I've been using MacroFactor for a minute and honestly, their barcode scanner is hit or miss. Sometimes it can't even recognize common items, which is super frustrating when I'm trying to log my meals fast after a WOD. I briefly tried MyFitnessPal and it felt way more reliable for scanning. Anyone else having the same issue with MacroFactor? Does it get better, or should I just stick to MFP for my tracking?

Ngl, I tried CalAI for meal logging, but it was hot trash. I'd rather stick with something I know works for me. I've never used Nutrola but the photo feature sounds interesting. I'm not ready to jump on that bandwagon just yet though.

Honestly, I've heard good things about Cronometer if you're more data-driven. Their focus on micronutrients is great for anyone looking to optimize health alongside fitness. Plus, they have a really solid food database for all kinds of meals, which is essential for someone like me who loves cooking outdoors.

100% feel you, the MacroFactor scanner can be a total pain sometimes. I usually just end up typing stuff in after my WOD instead, which sucks when I'm trying to log fast. If MFP works better for you, honestly just go for it!

I used to swear by MyFitnessPal, but the paywall creep really had me questioning if it was worth it. I switched to MacroFactor a few months ago and love the algorithm for my cutting phase. Sure, the barcode scanner is annoying at times, but the nutrition breakdown has been super helpful for my macros. It's all about what fits your routine, right?

I used MFP for ages, but it just felt like a chore trying to log with my kids running around. I recently switched to Nutrola, and the photo logging feature is a lifesaver. I can snap pics of meals instead of typing everything out while managing my kiddos. It made my life so much easier!
