MyFitnessPal keeps paywalling features, anyone else getting fed up?

TL;DR: MyFitnessPal keeps adding paywalls, anyone else annoyed?

So I've been using MyFitnessPal for a while to track my macros, but it feels like every time I turn around, they're throwing another feature behind a paywall. I get it, they gotta make money, but the ads are creeping in too, and it's just annoying at this point. I tried Cronometer for a hot minute, but the food database felt kinda weak compared to MFP. Am I the only one feeling this way? Like, what's the point of tracking if I'm just hitting dead ends?

This slaps! Just mix it up with some protein-packed smoothies. Who needs complicated apps when you can just blend? I get my gains while keeping it simple

I can relate! Juggling kids and workouts is hard enough without these extra hurdles. For me, MFP was perfect at first, but now it just feels like a hassle. I'm tempted to try out some other apps, but I'm scared to lose my data.

Skill issue. Just write it down in a notebook, man. It'll save you money and you'll still be able to track your progress. Plus, you can doodle while you're at it

I feel you. MyFitnessPal has been making it hard to track macros without paying. I switched to MacroFactor recently and it feels so much more user-friendly, plus the features are just better overall. Sure, it costs a little, but at least I'm not getting bombarded with ads every time I log my meals.

Honestly, tracking doesn't have to be complicated. Just focus on what works for u. I do yoga and lift, and I use a simple app to log my workouts and food. It's all about balance.

I get the frustration! Balancing family and my marathon training is tough enough without having to deal with app drama. Have you considered trying a running app that tracks nutrition? They might have better integrations!

Yeah, the paywall is getting ridiculous. I tried Cronometer too, but it felt like trying to find a needle in a haystack. At least with MFP, the community is great for sharing tips and recipes. Can't say the same for Cronometer.

I switched to Cronometer too and found it lacking. But their nutrient breakdown is really detailed if you give it a chance. Just takes some getting used to. If u're serious about tracking micros, it might be worth it!

Facts. It's like they're trying to squeeze every penny out of us. I've also noticed the ads creeping in and it's just annoying. Honestly, if I wanted ads, I'd watch TV instead.
