What's a quick breakfast that can hit 40g of protein in 5 minutes?

I just finished my first marathon, and I'm realizing how important it is to fuel up right, especially in the mornings when I have no time to waste. I'm looking for a high-protein breakfast that I can whip up in under 5 minutes. I mean, who has time for complicated recipes when you're trying to get out the door?

So far, I've been doing protein shakes, but I need some variety! Something that packs in the protein without breaking the bank would be ideal. I'm thinking eggs or maybe some Greek yogurt could work. Does anyone have a go-to recipe that fits the bill?

If you have ideas, please share your ingredients and steps along with the macros! I'm aiming for something around 40g of protein, if possible. It's been a journey, and I want to keep pushing my limits with my nutrition as much as my training. Let's hear those quick breakfast hacks!

Ngl, why not just slam a protein bar while you run out the door? There are so many on the market that pack in 20g or more. Not ideal, but if you're short on time, sometimes u gotta make sacrifices, right? Or u could just eat a whole pizza for breakfast...just kidding, please don't do that.

After finishing my first marathon, I realized that fueling is key. Post-run, I whip up a simple breakfast sandwich with two eggs, turkey bacon, and whole grain bread. It takes less than 5 minutes and you can get a solid 40g of protein easily. Plus, it keeps me full and helps with recovery!

The journey of nutrition is just as important as the running journey! I often do a simple egg scramble with spinach and feta cheese. It's packed with protein, quick to make, and gives you a boost of nutrients. Just remember to listen to your body; it knows what it needs! Running and fueling should feel harmonious.

I feel you! After running, I often struggle to get enough protein in a quick breakfast. Have you tried a protein-packed smoothie bowl? Blend Greek yogurt, a banana, and ur favorite protein powder, then top it with granola and berries. It's super quick and tastes amazing! Plus, you'll get a decent amount of carbs for recovery too.

This. You can also prep overnight oats with Greek yogurt! Mix rolled oats, yogurt, and your choice of milk. Add in some nuts or seeds for healthy fats, and you'll get a good protein boost. My kids love it, and I can make a few jars at once. Just grab one in the morning and you're set!

I used to stress over hitting my macros every day, but I've found that focusing on intuitive eating has worked wonders for me. If you want something quick, go for Greek yogurt with some mixed nuts and a drizzle of honey. It hits around 30g protein without being overly complicated. I feel more satisfied and energized now.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of relying too much on shakes. They're convenient but can feel empty sometimes. I prefer a high-protein pancake mix. Just add water and throw it on a skillet. A couple of servings can give you around 30g of protein. Top with nut butter for extra flavor and protein. You can make it all in under 5 minutes!

Lmao, I feel you on the protein shake grind. But honestly, those egg bites from Costco? Pure gold. Just pop 'em in the microwave for a minute, and bam! 20g of protein in two bites. They aren't cheap, but they save time, and you can snag some veggies too.

You can't go wrong with a classic breakfast burrito. Grab a whole wheat tortilla, toss in some scrambled eggs, black beans, and a sprinkle of cheese. You can easily get around 40g of protein if you add a scoop of cottage cheese or some Greek yogurt on the side. Plus, you can make them in bulk and just heat them up in the morning! I usually make a dozen on Sundays for the week ahead. Just wrap them up and pop them in the fridge.
