Plant-Based Bulking Recipes, Where Are You? Asking for a Friend!

TL;DR: Need high-calorie, high-protein plant-based recipes for bulking! Help a bro out!

So, i've been trying to bulk up on a plant-based diet, but it feels like a hardcore raid boss fight. I mean, getting enough calories without crushing my macros is a real challenge! I usually hit the gym like I'm leveling up in a game, but then I come home to sad salads and tiny portions. Not exactly the loot I'm after.

I'm looking for some calorie-dense, high-protein plant-based recipes that won't break the bank. You know, something like a potion of protein, but for real meals. Bonus points if they're easy to make because after a workout, I'm not trying to do some elaborate cooking quest! If you've got your best-kept secrets or epic meal preps, drop them here!

Just to give a frame of reference, I'm trying to hit around 400-500 calories per meal with decent protein, like 25-35 grams. Any legendary recipes or hacks for this? Let's make bulking a breeze!

You could also consider making chickpea curry with coconut milk and veggies. Super filling, and you can make a big batch for meal prep. I do it for my family, and it's a hit! Plus, you can easily adjust it to hit those calorie goals.

Honestly, I was using MFP too, but switched to Nutrola for the recipe browser. It has tons of options for high-protein plant meals and filters by what I need. Makes life so much easier. Plus, the macros are already calculated so I just cook without thinking too hard about it.

I tried Nutrola but got kinda annoyed with the streaks. Like, I missed one day and felt like I was failing. But I have to admit, the recipe parsing is sick!

I totally get the struggle! For plant-based bulking, try a lentil and quinoa salad. Just mix cooked lentils and quinoa, add some avocado, roasted veggies, and drizzle with tahini. That'll easily get you 400-500 calories and 25g protein. Plus, it's so quick to whip up after a workout.

Have you tried protein smoothies? You can pack in nut butter, spinach, and some oats. Tastes amazing and gives you those calories fast. I do it a lot!

100! Smoothies are definitely a must. I usually throw in some pea protein powder, almond milk, and banana too. I'm telling you, it's like a health potion after a workout.

Yeah, im with you on that. I tried CalAI and it was hot trash for me. Just felt like a hassle to take pics instead of typing things in.

Idk, I'm sticking with MFP for now. My food list is totally dialed in, switching apps sounds like a quest I don't wanna deal with right now. Plus, those paywalls are wild.
