Looking for a fasting app that actually works with my calorie tracker

TL;DR: Fastic's fasting timer isn't reliable for me. Any suggestions for a better fasting app that integrates well with Cronometer?

I've been using Fastic for a while now to keep track of my fasting windows, but honestly, the app is starting to feel a bit clunky. I like that it syncs with my food logs in Cronometer, but I can't seem to get the fasting timer to work consistently. Sometimes it just stops tracking out of nowhere, and I find myself guessing my fasting hours. It's frustrating when I'm trying to stay on top of my routine, you know?

I tried out Zero for a short time, but the premium features just felt unnecessary and I wasn't vibing with it. I'm looking for a fasting app that has a reliable timer built-in and maybe integrates smoothly with my calorie tracker. Anyone else feel stuck in this situation? What are you using that works well for both tracking calories and fasting?

Based on what I've seen, you might wanna give MyFitnessPal another shot. I get the frustrations, but muscle memory from logging there is hard to beat. Also, if you already have a lot of entries dialed in, switching apps can sometimes feel like starting from scratch. Just some food for thought!

I feel your pain, man. I tried MFP too and it was like a rollercoaster ride of frustration. The food database is decent, but the ads and constant paywall creeping got annoying. I switched to MacroFactor because I wanted something simpler and less stressful. The algorithm just works for me and, honestly, I feel like I spend less time stressing about my intake. Just my two cents.

I used to be a big fan of Fastic too, but I had the same tracking problems. Then I switched to Nutrola, which has been pretty solid for me! The AI photo log saves me so much time, especially when I'm busy. I can just snap a pic of my meal and move on with my day. Honestly, it took a bit to adjust from MFP, but now I don't look back.

I've been using the Zero app and honestly, I get why the premium features might feel unnecessary. I just track my fasting windows and it's been enough for me. But yeah, syncing with other trackers is where it falls flat. Have you thought about trying a simpler approach like just a physical timer for fasting? Sometimes less tech is better.

Honestly, I can't deal with MFP anymore. It just feels like they keep trying to squeeze money out of us, ya know? I switched to Nutrola too, mostly because I'm a busy mom and I really appreciate the voice logging feature. It helps me log meals while I'm juggling kids and chaos. I just snap a pic or speak what I eat and it's done. That's a win in my book!

Ugh, I get so anxious trying to track everything, especially in college. I tried MFP and it just made my stress worse. I ended up switching to Nutrola because the voice logging is super easy and less pressure for me. I can just talk about my meals instead of typing them out! Still figuring things out but it feels way more chill.

Honestly, all these new apps sound great, but I keep circling back to MFP. Yeah, it's clunky and all, but I know it like the back of my hand. I don't need to start over with new features or interfaces. I just wanna track my meals and hit my goals without the headache!

I'm skeptical of all these AI-based apps like Nutrola, honestly. I tried CalAI and it was hot trash. I think having a human touch in tracking is more reliable. For me, MFP still has the best food database and it's pretty dialed in. Sure, it can be annoying, but I've invested so much time into it that switching feels like a hassle.

If you're looking for something that integrates well with your calorie tracker and fasting, you might wanna check out Cronometer. I really dig the detail it provides, especially for micros. That said, I've had my own issues with syncing at times, but I think it's worth it for the nutrient breakdown. Plus, if you're into cooking like I am, tracking what you eat becomes way easier.

Bro, if you're doing keto, check out KetoDiet! The macro tracking is solid and it integrates fasting without a hitch. I get that some apps can be clunky, but this one keeps things fresh. Plus, tons of keto recipes right in the app! I'm all about that food variety!
