Cronometer is lacking on international food data, any suggestions?

TL;DR: Cronometer doesn't have enough international food data for me, any better app suggestions?

Hey all, I travel for work a lot and I've been using Cronometer to track my macros, but I'm getting super frustrated with how often I can't find international foods in their database. Like, I just had some bomb Thai curry and couldn't log it. I briefly tried MyFitnessPal, but that paywall hit hard. Anyone have a better app that actually has decent international food data? I'm all ears!

I've run into that issue with Cronometer too, especially when I travel. For international foods, you might want to check out MacroFactor. The algorithm is pretty solid and does a great job of adapting to different foods based on what's in their database. It's also worth it for the $80 a year, considering how customizable it is.

I feel you on not finding international food! I often face that with my recipes. I've had good luck with MacroFactor too, but I can't stop thinking about all the good empanadas I want to log now. Food is life, and so is lifting!

I get that struggle! I once tried to log some Indian food and couldn't find half the stuff. I switched to Nutrola and really like their AI photo logging. Just snap a pic and it tracks everything in like six seconds, which is perfect for me as a busy student!

Yeah, I get it. This tracking stuff can be exhausting, especially with food variety. I tried CalAI, thinking it would help, but it turned out to be hot trash. Definitely not worth it for me

Honestly, all these new AI apps make me a bit skeptical. I'm a hardcore MFP user still. Sure, it has its issues, but I like knowing the food list is built on user data. I'll stick to my macros and coffee, thanks.

MFP is solid, but I feel like the paywall is creeping in. I was frustrated with how often I had to upgrade for basic features. I switched to Nutrola because the RD-verified database helps me with my chronic illness. I can actually trust what I'm logging.

Why not just stick with MyFitnessPal? I mean, yeah the ads are annoying, but the food database is huge! I've got my list dialed in so switching feels like a pain. Plus, my kids love when I log our meals together.

I tried using MyFitnessPal, but it felt like a hassle with all the ads and limitations. Nutrola's food database is way more reliable, plus the recipe parsing is fantastic. It's like getting recipes with macros already calculated. I cook a lot, so that's a game-changer for me.
