Cronometer's food database is missing so many plant-based options, what are others using?
I've been using Cronometer for tracking my food intake, especially since I've switched to a plant-based diet. It's been pretty frustrating though, because their database seems to be lacking in a lot of the items I eat daily, like specific brands of plant-based yogurts and even some common veggies. It makes it harder for me to accurately track my nutrition, especially since I'm trying to manage my chronic illness and need to ensure I'm getting enough nutrients.
I tried using MyFitnessPal for a bit, thinking it might have a better selection, but I felt overwhelmed with the ads and the premium paywall felt unnecessary for what I needed. I just want something straightforward that doesn't leave me hunting for foods that I know exist! Anyone else having similar issues with Cronometer or found another app that does better with plant-based options? Would love to hear what you're using and if it's working for you
