Carb Manager is frustrating me, is Cronometer better for keto?
I've been using Carb Manager for a while now to track my keto macros, but honestly, I'm getting pretty annoyed with it. The database has a lot of gaps, and I find myself constantly entering foods manually because it just doesn't recognize a lot of the items I eat. Plus, the ads are creeping in more and more lately. I get that they need to monetize, but it feels like every time I open the app, I'm being bombarded with promotions for their premium features. And let's not even get started on the paywall; it seems like every useful feature is behind a subscription.
I briefly tried Cronometer as a backup, and I loved the detailed nutrient breakdown. It felt like a breath of fresh air, but I was worried about switching since I already have my whole routine set up in Carb Manager. But if Carb Manager keeps frustrating me like this, I might just have to make the leap.
So, for anyone who's been in the same boat, what's your take? Is Cronometer worth it in terms of accuracy and usability for keto tracking? Or is there another app out there that doesn't have these issues? I'd love to hear your experiences.
