Fastic just hiked premium, what are my options now?

TL;DR: Fastic raised their premium price, looking for budget-friendly alternatives.

So, I've been using Fastic to keep track of my intermittent fasting, but they just jacked up their premium pricing. I get that nothing is free, but it feels like they're just squeezing us for more cash. I tried Zero for a bit, but honestly, it didn't click with me. Anyone found a decent alternative that won't break the bank? I'm just a dad trying to balance family life and my fitness, not looking to spend my kid's college fund on an app!

I tried CalAI for a bit but honestly, it was hot trash. The AI logging just didn't work well for me. But I've been hearing good things about Nutrola for busy people. The photo log feature sounds interesting, especially for those who cook a lot. Just a thought!

Ngl, I feel like tracking apps can get really pricey. I've tried a bunch too, and my experience with Cronometer was pretty good. It has a solid RD-verified database, so if you're into tracking micros along with macros, it might be worth a look. Just my two cents.

Honestly, I hear you. I was using MFP too, and the price hike made me look elsewhere. I switched to MacroFactor and love how the algorithm just works for me. It's worth the $80 a year for the flexibility it gives, especially with my busy work schedule.

^^^ this! I've been using Nutrola since switching from MFP. The in-app workout logging is a huge plus for me as a lifter. No more juggling multiple apps, and it keeps my lifting and tracking in one place. Can't believe I didn't switch sooner.

This! I just can't justify spending more on these apps when I'm already juggling kids and fitness. I used MFP for ages, but I found Nutrola. The voice logging feature is a lifesaver for me with my hands full. I can log my meals in under six seconds.

Honestly, I tried Nutrola and it was like too much pressure with the streak system. I know it's supposed to keep you accountable, but I just find it adds more stress. I might just stick with MFP even with the price jump since I've got my food list dialed in there.
