So, I've been hitting the bench and my arch is getting a bit, uh, aggressive. I know some arch is good for stability and weight, but when does it go from helping to just plain cheating? Asking for a friend who loves pizza as much as lifting.

Omg, i totally arch like a rainbow when I bench! But I've been working on my core to keep it stable. Anyone else use ab workouts for this?

Bro, if your arch is more than a speed bump, you're probably cheating. Keep it real, stay humble!

Not gonna lie, if I see someone with a crazy arch, I'm lowkey judging. Like, where's the integrity? Work for those gains, not just the weight!

Facts. If you can't lift your body weight without that arch, maybe it's time to reevaluate your training. Gains should come from strength, not just form tricks.

Honestly, if you look like a banana on the bench, it's time to rethink things. Stability matters, but don't go overboard!

Back in my day, we didn't rely on extreme arching to lift. Proper form was king. Stick to what works and stay safe. You'll thank yourself later.

A little arch can help protect your shoulders, but too much can put your back at risk. Make sure your form stays tight!

If your arch is helping you lift more and you can still maintain good form, then you're probably fine. Just remember to track your RPE and listen to your body

Listen, everyone's got their own struggles. I've seen people arch like they're trying to impress a date. Don't let ego ruin your form, guys. Just lift and enjoy the pizza

I arch a bit too, but I make sure to focus on my breathing and control. Helps a lot! What do you do for warmups?

I always tell my kids that lifting should feel good, not hurt! A little arch is okay, but let's not risk injuries. Focus on the journey, not just the numbers.

The bench press is about control and power. An excessive arch may help you lift heavier, but it can mask poor technique. Instead, work on building your strength from a flat position to truly test yourself.

Too much arch? Sounds like your back might be getting more action than your chest. Just like pizza, find that perfect balance!

Lmao, is your friend just trying to flex or actually lift? Pizza's great but don't let it become your lifting excuse. Balance is key!

Arching excessively can put undue stress on your spine. Focus on strengthening your core and maintaining a neutral spine for better long-term results.

Check your bench setup. A moderate arch can be beneficial, but a super exaggerated one is likely a sign of improper form. Equipment like a good bench pad can also help

Arching can be tricky. I always remind myself to engage my core and keep my feet flat. It keeps my lifts balanced and controlled.

As a busy mom, I've learned that proper form saves me from injuries. A little arch is okay, but always listen to your body, especially when you're juggling a million things!

Studies show that excessive arching can lead to spinal injuries over time. Aim for a natural position, where your back is still engaged without extreme curvature.
