**TL;DR:** Anyone tried cordyceps long-term for endurance? Did it actually work, or just more hype?

So, I've been lifting for a decade now, which means I've seen my fair share of trends come and go. Cordyceps is the latest one making its rounds, especially for endurance. I'm skeptical by nature, which is probably why I've spent more time in the gym than on a treadmill. Honestly, I'm at a point where I'm questioning my life choices while doing squats.

Has anyone actually tried cordyceps long-term? I've read some studies that sound impressive, but half the time I feel like I'm just falling for another fad. The claims about increased VO2 max and energy levels sound great, but I'm just not sure if they translate to real-world results or if it's just hype. If you've been on this ride, did it work for you or did you find yourself just as existentially drained as before? What brands did you try, and what dosages?

i need to know if this is worth my time or if I should just stick with my usual caffeine and creatine combo while contemplating the void.

This just sounds like another fad to me. i've been lifting for ages and seen trends like this come and go. Like, who even knew about cordyceps a few years ago? I think I'll stick with what I know works, caffeine, creatine, and good old-fashioned despair. But hey, if you give it a shot and it works, I might reconsider. Otherwise, we're all just chasing the void together

Yup! I've been adding cordyceps to my pre-run routine and it honestly feels like I can push through those last few miles without feeling totally wiped out. No cap, it's been a solid game changer for my endurance runs. Also, don't sleep on good nutrition and hydration; they're just as important! 🏃‍♀️

Oh dear, existential dread while squatting, I know that feeling! 😂 But honestly, cordyceps might be worth trying, especially if you're already mixing it up with your routine. At my age, I need all the help I can get to keep up with the younger lifters, and I've found that natural supplements can sometimes give that little extra boost. Just be cautious and don't expect miracles.

i've been using cordyceps for about 6 months now, and honestly, I do feel like my endurance has improved during my runs. I was skeptical too, but I noticed that I can sustain my longer workouts with less fatigue. I pair it with my regular routine of whole foods, and it's been a nice addition. Just make sure you're sourcing high-quality mushrooms since there are a lot of fakes out there.

Facts, i've seen some crazy claims about cordyceps, but I'm not convinced. I'd rather stick to my caffeine and creatine stack too. Just to throw it out there, some studies say it helps with oxygen utilization, but it feels like bro-science to me. 😂

I tried cordyceps for a couple of months last year while training for my first powerlifting meet. I didn't notice a massive difference in my strength, but my recovery felt a bit quicker. I've heard mixed reviews, so it might not be for everyone. And as a vegan, I always try to go for plant-based options, but sourcing them can be tricky. You might want to experiment and see how your body responds
