I recently dropped 20 lbs after tackling that stubborn menopause weight, but now I'm feeling a bit stalled. I'm an active mom of 5, so I've got plenty of family workouts in the mix, but I want to keep the momentum going. Anyone else experienced this? What worked for you to break through that plateau? Photos to share the journey as well!

Is it bad if I just started working out? I feel super lost, but I'm trying to figure out what works for me. Should I focus on lifting or cardio? Like, what's the most fun way to get fit?

Congrats on the 20 lbs lost! That's a huge win! For breaking through that plateau, have you tried switching up your workouts? Sometimes just a little variety can help kickstart things again. I love taking my kids for hikes or doing obstacle courses in the backyard, makes it fun for everyone!

Plateaus can be so frustrating, but they often signal that it's time for a change! I hit one after losing 15 lbs, and I realized my workout was getting too predictable. Try mixing in some HIIT or change your rep ranges. Also, how are your macros looking? Tracking everything in an app like MyFitnessPal helped me adjust my intake effectively

Awesome job on losing those pounds! When I hit a plateau, I usually reassess my meal prep. I make sure I'm hitting my macros accurately. Sometimes, I think I'm tracking right but miss some hidden calories. Have you tried using MyFitnessPal or Cronometer to log your meals? It can be a real eye-opener.

Oof, plateaus are the worst! But like, running is like a constant chase for me. When I hit a wall, I just switch up my routes or add intervals to my runs. Keeps it fresh and helps break that cycle! Plus, nothing beats that runner's high.

Have you tried mixing in some cardio with your workouts? High-intensity intervals can spice things up and help blast through plateaus. i always feel like I'm dying, but the results are so worth it. Give it a shot!

If you're plateauing, maybe it's time to try flexible dieting. It's super practical and less stressful. You can still enjoy your favorite foods while hitting your goals. It's worked for me, some serious gains while eating pizza. Just a thought!

Plateaus suck, but switching your diet can help! I swear by Whole30. When I did it, I dropped weight like crazy because I focused on whole foods. What are some meals you enjoy? Maybe I can share some recipes to help shake things up.

Stalling is common, especially with hormonal changes. You might want to experiment with lowering sugar intake; I found that it made a big difference for me. I swapped out sugary snacks for fruits and nuts, and it was a game-changer. Have you thought about trying that?

Tracking can be a slippery slope, especially if you're not mindful. I focus on intuitive eating these days. It really helped me listen to my body instead of just numbers. Have you ever considered it? Sometimes, your body knows best!

You're killing it with the 20 lbs! Just make sure you're not under-eating; that can really stall progress. If you're into meal prep, I can drop some ideas. I do chicken, broccoli, and rice every week, and it keeps my gains steady.

I remember hitting a plateau a few years back. I tried a new workout routine, incorporating more flexibility and mobility exercises. That really helped me break through. I think it's all about finding that balance. Have you tried yoga or Pilates? They can really help with strength and recovery.

Finding that balance in your workouts is crucial. Have you tried mindfulness exercises alongside your fitness? Sometimes the mental aspect can really influence your progress. Yoga or meditation can help you stay focused and less stressed, which can impact weight loss.

Getting stuck is frustrating, but I like to focus on self-care too. Have you thought about incorporating more recovery days? Sometimes you need to give your body that time to rebuild and recharge. It can make a huge difference in your overall performance.

It's rly inspiring to see you making progress despite the challenges of menopause. Running has helped me through some tough times too. I suggest maybe incorporating some longer runs or even a few sprints! It can be really liberating and refreshing, plus it gives you those endorphins

It's impressive that you've lost 20 lbs, especially during menopause! I've been lifting for years, and I find that strength training really helps with weight loss, even at our age. Don't forget to pay attention to your protein intake; aim for about 1 gram per pound of body weight. That can really help with recovery and muscle maintenance

Facts, hitting a plateau is real. But have you tried going plant-based for a bit? I dropped a few pounds just from switching my meals around and focusing on whole foods. Plus, it's a great way to ensure you're getting plenty of nutrients without added calories. Let me know if you want some recipe ideas!

Try adding some caffeine before your workouts. I do it all the time. Just one cup of coffee can seriously boost your energy levels and help you push through those tough sessions. I call it my pre-game ritual! Just don't overdo it or you'll be jittery.

Breaking plateaus? Focus on strength! I hit a plateau a while back, and I started lifting heavier. Progressive overload is your friend; it can break those chains and get you moving again. You'd be amazed at how a small change in weight can ignite those gains.

Man, those plateaus can feel like a brick wall. But like, if you're not getting your protein right, that's a biggie. Make sure you're hitting that for muscle gain and recovery. You might want to try a protein shake post-workout or add in a few eggs for breakfast!

Yep, plateaus suck! But I say keep those family workouts going strong! My kids love obstacle courses, and they keep me on my toes. 😂 Also, don't be afraid to shake up your routine, try yoga or swimming for a few weeks. It could help you break through that wall without feeling burnt out!

100! Switching things up is essential. Try adding more plant-based meals to your diet. Not only is it good for your health, but it also keeps things interesting. A good lentil burger or quinoa salad can be a game changer. What do you think about adding more veggies to your meals?

I can relate to feeling stuck after weight loss, especially post-menopause. When I hit a plateau at 50, I switched up my lifting routine completely. Adding more compound lifts like squats and deadlifts helped me break through. I also found that increasing my protein intake made a huge difference. Remember, your body changes, and so should your approach!

If your workouts aren't making you feel like you just survived a zombie apocalypse, what's even the point? HIIT is the way to go. You can burn so many calories in such a short time, plus it keeps things spicy. No CrossFit nonsense needed. Just high-intensity bursts followed by short rests, trust me on this!
