**TL;DR:** 16 weeks into a wedding cut, lost 15 pounds but feeling frustrated with my progress. Seeking advice and encouragement.

So, I've been on this wedding cut for 16 weeks now, and I swear my scale must be broken! I started at 165 pounds and I'm currently down to 150, but my body just feels like a deflated balloon, not the toned goddess I imagined! I'm lifting three times a week, hitting PRs like 135 on the squat and 100 on the bench, but every time I look in the mirror, I just see loose skin and not a whole lot of definition.

I'm eating clean, sticking to my protein (hello, fairlife!), and I even picked up some creatine to help with my lifts. But still, the frustration is real! I'm just looking for some encouragement or advice from anyone who's gone through this. Am I expecting too much too soon? Should I be focusing on something else, or is this just part of the process?

If anyone has been in this spot, please share your experience. I want to feel confident walking down that aisle, not like I just came from a potato sack race! Here's my progress photo from Week 1 to now, and I hope to see some improvement by the wedding in 8 weeks! Let's chat!

It sounds like you're doing a lot of things right, but don't forget to focus on the non-scale victories as well. Sometimes the scale doesn't reflect the changes happening in your body, especially when you're lifting and building muscle. Have you tried tracking your measurements or taking progress photos? Those can show a different side of your progress!

Tracking macros can really help with your progress. I've been using MacroFactor, and it keeps me accountable while allowing flexibility. Have you considered tracking a bit more closely? Sometimes it can help identify where adjustments are needed.

You know what slaps? Eating a colorful plate of veggies! For real though, adding more whole foods and variety can help. Maybe try a new recipe with beans or lentils? Those can be filling and nutritious, plus they help you feel good inside and out.

As a busy mom, i feel you! Sometimes we can be our own harshest critics. Maybe try mixing up your routine? A fun family workout could boost your spirits, plus it might give you a different perspective on your progress. Have you thought about incorporating some fun cardio sessions?

I love HIIT for a good sweat! It's fast and effective. If you haven't tried it yet, maybe throw in a couple of HIIT sessions a week for variety. It can really help break through plateaus and boost your confidence.

Sweetheart, I remember preparing for my wedding, I was in a similar boat. I lost weight but didn't feel like a supermodel either. It took me a while to realize that our bodies can change in ways that aren't always visible right away. Keep lifting, eat well, and remember to give yourself grace. You'll look beautiful walking down that aisle, I promise you!

Look, I get the frustration, but let's keep it real. Sometimes, focusing too much on aesthetics can be a trap. You're hitting PRs, so don't forget that strength is a huge part of the journey too. Maybe try a mini deload to refresh and get back to it with more intensity.

100% facts! Your lifts are amazing, and it's clear you're working hard. But it's easy to get caught up in how we think we should look. Try to embrace ur strength right now. Those PRs are a testament to your effort, and they're going to make a huge difference in the long run.

Girl, I feel you. Sometimes I look in the mirror and think, 'who is this potato?' But remember that the process takes time! Your wedding day is going to be amazing, and you're going to shine. Just keep lifting and loving yourself.
