**TL;DR:** Finished a cut from 180 to 165 lbs, hitting a deadlift PR at 225 lbs. How does maintenance usually treat ya?

So, I just wrapped up a 12-week cut and dropped from 180 to 165 lbs, hitting my goal! My lifts were kinda rough towards the end, but I still managed a 10 lb PR on my deadlift (225 lbs). Now I'm moving to maintenance and curious how my body will react. Anyone else experience any crazy changes during this switch? Let's motivate each other as we keep pushing!

Moving to maintenance is all about finding balance. I did a cut last year, and my lifts dropped initially, but they bounced back after a few weeks. I track my macros closely on keto, so I always know where I'm at. Just don't go overboard on those carbs, or you might regret it!

This is why i stick to running! Lifting can mess with my head. Honestly, I tried maintenance after a cut once, and I was like a balloon with all that extra food. No thanks!

I feel you on the struggle of moving to maintenance, it's like a rollercoaster for me! After my last cut, my body was in shock, and I had to recalibrate my meals. Kids love when I experiment with new recipes, so I try to keep it interesting while tracking. It can get messy, but that's family life! I used MyFitnessPal for a while, but found that just tracking meals by hand helped me more in the long run.

Transitioning from a cut to maintenance can be tricky. I've seen clients experience changes in energy levels and cravings, so pay attention to those. Adding a bit of healthy fats back in could help with satiety and overall energy.
