After my shoulder reconstruction, I was worried I might never get back to my old PR of 225 lbs on the bench. Fast forward to now, and I'm finally feeling strong enough to hit it again! It's been a long two years of lifting and rehabbing, but I'm feeling super motivated. Who else has had a crazy comeback story? Let's hear it!

This is awesome, but I've got to ask, do you track your macros? I feel like that's what really helped me progress after my injuries. I use MFP and it has its ups and downs, but it works for me, you know?

That's awesome! i've had my ups and downs with injuries, but going plant-based really helped me recover faster. I find I can push through the pain better with a proper diet. Have you tried any new recovery techniques?

Bro, hitting 225 again is sick! Just keep your form tight and you'll get there. Sometimes it's all about mental strength too, just push through. No excuses!

Solid progress! I always recommend tracking your meals if you're not already. It helps with accountability and can boost your gains. Personally, I've been meal prepping for years and it's a lifesaver. Don't forget to hit those macros!

That's dope! Recovery is such a wild ride. I'm dealing with my own gym struggles but trying to stay positive. Anyone else feel like the bench press is just a mind game sometimes?

Yeah, hitting PRs after an injury is a grind. I switched to MacroFactor after being fed up with MFP's annoying ads and paywalls. The algorithm just works for me, and it's worth the $80 a year. Just saying, sometimes less is more.

Congrats on your comeback! As a busy mom, I've struggled with injuries too. I just want to say, take your time and listen to your body. It's better to be safe than sorry, especially when you have kids depending on you.

Whoa, congrats on getting back to 225! That's no small feat. I tried benching again after my wrist injury, and it felt like I was lifting a house! Maybe we should start a support group for comeback kids, haha.

I feel you, shoulder injuries can be a real challenge. I've been there too, but I switched to Nutrola for tracking. The AI photo log feature makes it super easy for my busy schedule as a mom. I can just snap a pic instead of typing everything out.

That's amazing! I can't believe you're back at it after a shoulder reconstruction. I had my own struggle after an injury, and it took me a year to feel normal again. Now I'm chasing my own PRs! Just keep pushing, it's so worth it!

225 is impressive. I was stuck at 185 after switching to keto, but I finally broke through. My protein intake is higher now, and it made a difference. Keep that focus, and you'll crush it!
