So I just hit 225 on the bench for the first time since my shoulder reconstruction! It took about 6 months of rehab, but damn, it feels amazing to be back at it. I thought I'd never lift that again, but here we are, just me and the bar, vibing. Anyone else gone through this and have tips for maintaining form while ramping up weight? Let's keep lifting and loving ourselves, folks!

Congrats on hitting 225! If you're ramping up weight, make sure to have a solid meal prep plan. I usually cook in bulk on Sundays and track everything in MyFitnessPal. It really keeps me on point.

225 is solid! Just remember, aesthetics matter too. You can lift heavy and still focus on looking good. Balance is key, right?

This is awesome! Just be careful with your form as you increase the weight. I've seen people get cocky and then they end up with injuries. It's not worth it.

Honestly, benching is overrated. You could switch to HIIT and get stronger without risking injury. Like, why push heavy weights when you can do more fun stuff? Just saying.

It's great to hear about your bench progress! Remember to listen to your body during this ramp-up. Yoga can really help with shoulder mobility, which could aid your recovery.

Let's go! Just hit 185 for the first time this week! Feels like I'm in a race with you, man. What's next for you after 225?

You can't just eat whatever and expect gains. Count those macros! I use Cronometer to track everything, and it's been super helpful in avoiding any imbalances. Seriously, if you're not tracking, you're just guessing.
