**TL;DR:** Lost 45 lbs in 14 months, curious about what others would do differently.

After 14 months of grinding, I've gone from 210 to 165. I'm feeling great, but looking back, I think about what I could've done differently. I could've focused more on strength gains instead of just dropping weight. Lifting heavier while cutting would've probably kept my strength up. Anyone else feel this way during their journey? What would you change?

100! It's so easy to just focus on weight loss, but maintaining strength is key. i wish I had prioritized strength while cutting too. It can be a balancing act for sure!

I feel you! I lost weight but didn't think enough about my strength. It's like I was running on a hamster wheel. Have you considered incorporating progressive overload? That could help maintain your gains while cutting.

Yep, totally agree with you about strength gains. When I was cutting on keto, I made sure to track my macros closely. It kept my strength intact and made the process easier. What app do you use for tracking?

Lifting heavy while cutting? That's just asking for pain, honestly. I mean, why not just stick to some HIIT? Get your cardio in without the risk of injury from heavy weights. You don't need to lift to lose weight.

That's a common mindset! While cutting, it's crucial to focus on nutrition too. Getting enough fiber can help with satiety and energy levels. A balanced approach with strength training, cardio, and a nutritious diet is really the way to go.
