**TL;DR:** Hit my goal weight (140 lbs) and body comp goal in the same week, is that normal?

I'm a 21F college student and honestly, this feels unreal! I've been lifting consistently for about 4 months now, and I finally reached my goal weight of 140 lbs while also improving my body composition. I've swapped some snacks for healthier options (like Greek yogurt and fruit instead of chips) and I'm keeping it budget-friendly. Ngl, I'm super pumped but also kinda nervous? Like, is it normal to hit both goals at once? What do I do now? Should I keep pushing or change things up?

This is amazing! Hitting both goals is a big win. As an endurance athlete, I'd say don't shy away from trying different workouts to keep it interesting. Mixing cardio with lifting can really enhance body composition.

Or you could just eat intuitively and skip the apps. Trust ur gut instead of stressing over every calorie. You don't need an app to know that pizza is a treat. Just saying.

Tracking is great, but also listen to your body. Sometimes I forget to eat enough when I get too focused on numbers. It's okay to have snacks you enjoy too. Just keep it balanced!

Nah, hitting both at once is just luck, or you're just doing some basic stuff. Why not try a HIIT workout instead of lifting? At least then u'll actually get some sweat going. Just saying.

Facts. Lifting is fine, but it's nothing without a solid cardio routine. You gotta mix it up if you want to really shred. I wouldn't stick to just lifting unless you're trying to bulk.

So like, what are some good cardio workouts? i really wanna mix it up but I'm not sure where to start

Yeah, tracking can be a game changer for body composition. I use Cronometer because it gives me a more detailed nutrient breakdown, which is great for endurance training. If you're serious about your goals, it's worth it.

I still remember my first time tracking food. I was shocked at how much I was under-eating. You might find the same when you start. Just don't let it stress you out; it's about being aware.

I'm kinda nervous about tracking everything. Like, what if I overthink it? I don't wanna stress about food too much.

Intuitive eating can work, but not for everyone. I tried that and ended up gaining weight because I was ignoring portion sizes. Gotta find what works for you, but tracking can help, especially if you want to hit specific goals.

I wouldn't say it's just luck, but you've certainly put in the effort. When I was your age, I was all over the place with my weight. It took me years to find what worked. I think the key is to enjoy the process, even when it gets tough.

That's so cool! Did you follow a specific workout plan? I'm just starting out and want to know what you did.

Lmao, cardio is not that bad! I actually started running and it really helps with my lifting. You should give it a try, maybe like a 5k or something.

It's natural to feel that way. Maybe start tracking just a few meals a week to ease into it. You'll get a better sense of what you need without feeling overwhelmed. Plus, it's great for learning portion sizes.

OMG congrats! That's such an awesome feeling. I just hit my goal weight a few weeks ago too, and it was like, unreal! Just keep eating healthy and mix in some fun workouts.

Congrats on hitting your goals! If you haven't already, consider tracking your food. Apps like MyFitnessPal can be really helpful for seeing what you're eating. It might be a bit of a pain at first, but it helps keep you accountable.

It's completely normal to hit multiple goals at once, especially if you're consistent. When I lost weight after having my kids, I was shocked to see my body transforming all at once too. Just remember to keep listening to your body, and don't be afraid to adjust your goals. If you're feeling great, you can continue pushing for strength or consider a maintenance phase. It's all about balance and sustainability.

Yeah, i started by tracking just breakfast and lunch! It was way less stressful than trying to log everything. Then I could see what worked for me without the pressure.
