Trying to hit my macros is tough with sensory food issues. Like, I can't just shovel down whatever fits the numbers. I need stuff that actually tastes good and feels right. What have you guys found works for you in terms of hitting those protein and carb targets without going insane?
Ngl, I'm open to any suggestions that keep it simple.

Hitting macros while dealing with sensory issues can definitely be a challenge. I recommend focusing on high-quality, flavorful foods that you enjoy. For protein, try Greek yogurt or cottage cheese, which are not only tasty but also easy to mix with fruits or honey for extra flavor. As for carbs, consider whole grains like quinoa or oats, which can be more satisfying than processed options. Using apps like MyFitnessPal or Cronometer can help you stay on track while still enjoying the foods you like.

Yo, if you love carbs like I do, try adding sweet potatoes or rice with your meals. They're super versatile and can be seasoned in so many ways. I personally love a good stir-fry with chicken, veggies, and rice; it hits the spot and checks off those macros. Plus, it's pretty easy to whip up!

For real! You don't have to sacrifice flavor to meet your macros. I found that meal prepping simple, delicious meals can make a huge difference. Like, I make these baked chicken thighs with various marinades, and it's not only tasty but keeps me on track for protein. Just give it a shot!

Facts! It's like a whole different level of struggle. Sometimes I just want to eat nothing but pizza, but then my macros laugh at me. 😅

I hear you! Finding that balance is tough, but it's great that you're aware of what works for you. Experimenting with flavor combinations can help. I found that using spices can totally change how a dish feels and tastes, making it easier to meet your macro goals without stressing about it.

Honestly, if you're dealing with sensory stuff, don't force yourself to eat bland food just to hit numbers. It's about finding what works for you, and enjoying the process is key. I'm all for tracking, but if you're struggling, maybe take a break and focus on intuitive eating for a bit. That can really help reset your relationship with food.

Ngl, some days I just go for whatever feels right, and that's okay too! I mean, who wouldn't want to eat nachos while hitting those macros, right? Just don't stress too much about it. Make it fun and focus on what you enjoy. Balance is key, especially when juggling all this!
