**TL;DR:** After 12 months on Mounjaro, my body comp and bloodwork aren't improving as expected.

I've been lifting for 3 years and used Mounjaro for the past 12 months. I thought it'd help me shred while lifting, but my bloodwork is showing mixed results. Body composition hasn't changed much either, despite following a solid nutrition plan. Anyone else experienced this? Is it just me or is Mounjaro not living up to the hype?

From my experience, lifting and nutrition are everything. Mounjaro might assist with some appetite suppression, but it won't build muscle for you. Focus on hitting your PRs and adjust your calorie intake based on your lifts. Are you using any specific routine like 5/3/1 or PPL?

I think the hype around Mounjaro is overblown. I used it briefly, but I went back to focusing on my protein intake and supplements like creatine and whey. Those really helped my body comp more than any magic drug.

If your body comp isn't changing much, it might not be the Mounjaro. It could be your nutrition or training routine. Have you considered tweaking those?

Yeah, i tried Mounjaro too. I felt like I was working hard at the gym but didn't see results either. It might help to reassess your lifting routine or even take a deload week. Sometimes a reset is what we need to kick things back into gear

Facts. Tracking can be such a game-changer. i use MacroFactor and it helps me stay on point with my cutting. If you're not tracking, you might be missing some key details about your diet. Have you considered using an app to help you out?

Mounjaro? More like Moun-no! 😂 Seriously tho, maybe it just doesn't work for everyone. Are you tracking your calories or macros? That might help you see what's really going on.

I've been researching Mounjaro and its effects on body composition. Some studies suggest it can help with weight management, but it's not a magic pill. Have you looked into meal timing or even adjusting your macronutrient ratios? Sometimes, small tweaks can make a huge difference. If you're interested, I can share a recipe that's high in protein and low in carbs, which might support your goals better!
