As an MD who lifts and is on TRT, i'm wrestling with when to check my bloodwork again. I usually feel good but I know numbers can tell a different story. I've been on TRT for 6 months now, with levels looking solid at around 850 ng/dL, but I want to be proactive and ensure everything's in check. Is every 3 months too often, or just right? What do you guys typically recommend for your clients?

Testing every 3 months sounds reasonable, especially since you're on TRT. It helps you catch any fluctuations before they become a bigger issue. Just make sure you're tracking symptoms too, not just numbers.

I'm not a coach or a doc, but I heard some people say every 3 months is a bit much. Some experts recommend every 6 months unless you're experiencing issues. Just make sure to stay aware of how you feel.

Based on my experience, it's common to see shifts in levels, especially as your body adapts to TRT. Keep an eye on hematocrit and estrogen levels too. Sometimes those can sneak up on you.

I've been on TRT for a while and I think it's critical to retest regularly. Some guys don't realize how much they should pay attention to blood pressure and cholesterol too. Just feeling good doesn't mean everything's in check. Ignoring those can lead to bigger health issues down the line.

Yep, gotta keep the numbers in line! I remember when I first started lifting seriously, I didn't monitor my health enough, and it backfired hard. Don't let that happen to you, bro!

I think staying proactive is smart! I used to test my levels every 4 months, but that was when I first started. Now I check every 6 months, but I'm also really in tune with how I feel during my runs.

Ugh, I feel this! Managing blood work is tough with a busy schedule. I usually set reminders on my phone so I don't forget to schedule mine. Sometimes life gets in the way and it can slip your mind.

This sounds like a good plan! If you're feeling good and hitting your lifts, I think it's about finding the right balance. Maybe consider a chat with your doc about what they usually recommend for patients on TRT

Facts! I can't imagine doing blood tests every 3 months, seems excessive. Just make sure you keep an eye on your lifts and overall energy too. If something feels off, definitely get tested sooner.
