**TL;DR:** Looking for advice on which supplements to prioritize for clients.

I've been working with a variety of clients and I'm starting to notice that the supplement landscape is getting a bit overwhelming for them. I focus on whole foods first, but I'm often asked about which supplements actually matter. For those of you with more experience, what do you prioritize when discussing supplements? I've been thinking about creatine, protein powders, and maybe some adaptogens like ashwagandha. What's your go-to list for essential supplements? Any insights would be awesome.

I totally get the supplement confusion! Creatine is one of the most researched and effective options out there. It helps with strength gains and muscle recovery, plus it's safe for most people. Protein powders can also be great, especially for those who struggle to hit their protein targets through food alone.

Ngl, I'm more of a cardio bunny, but I tried creatine once and felt like a beast! My lifts actually went up. Adaptogens sound cool, but I get overwhelmed with all the options too. Sometimes, less is more, ya know?

It's great you're focusing on whole foods first, but I think you should be careful about recommending adaptogens like ashwagandha without solid evidence. While some people swear by it, the research is still inconclusive. Stick with proven ones like creatine and protein, that's where you'll see real results

Facts. People act like supplements are magic pills, but it's mostly about the basics. I used to waste a ton of money on stuff that didn't work, while my diet was trash. Whole foods are the priority, supplements are just extras

I keep it simple with my clients. I usually recommend a solid protein source like whey or a plant-based alternative if they're vegan. Vitamin D can be important too, especially in winter months. Whole foods first, but a few quality supplements can really help fill in the gaps.

Lmao, this thread feels like a supplement ad! But seriously, don't forget about hydration and sleep. They're the OGs of fitness. Without those, even the best supplements won't do much. Stay chill and focus on the basics.
