I've been squatting for a bit now and I keep wondering if my depth is good or if I'm just half-repping it. I'm hitting parallel, but sometimes it feels like I'm not quite getting low enough. Is there a way to know for sure? Need some reassurance here.

Bro, just go for it! Sometimes you gotta embrace that 'just lift' mindset. But for real, don't hesitate to ask for feedback from trainers at ur gym. People love giving advice, especially if they can flex a bit.

Hitting parallel is a good starting point, but you might want to focus on your form and technique. Try recording yourself from the side to see if your depth is really there. Also, sometimes squatting with a wider stance can help you get lower.

As a dad of three, I get it, man. I used to think I was squatting deep until I filmed myself and was shocked at how shallow my squats were. It's all about practice. Maybe try some mobility work too, that can help open up your hips!

You think you're half-repping? My first year of squats looked like a sad little bobblehead. I was convinced I was killing it. Just keep working on it and maybe try some mobility drills. Life is hard, lifting shouldn't be, right?

If you're looking for an honest way to track your progress, have you tried apps like Hevy or MacroFactor? They can help you track your lifts and see if your depth is improving over time. Much better than guessing!

For sure, depth is key! If you're at parallel, you're in a decent spot, but maybe try some goblet squats to work on your form and flexibility. Also, don't forget to eat those protein pancakes afterward! Helps with recovery.

As a competitive lifter, I can tell you that being able to squat below parallel is crucial for your strength and safety. If you're feeling unsure, maybe do some box squats or pause squats to help improve your depth. It's a good way to train your body to recognize the right position.

Listen, depth matters, but so does your strength. If you're getting your 1RM up, you don't have to worry too much. Just keep challenging yourself and adding weight gradually, you'll get that depth in no time.

Yep, you can totally check your depth! If you have access to a mirror or a friend, have them watch you. But also, if it feels good and you're not feeling pain, you're probably on the right track. Progress takes time!
