So I've been lifting for about 2 years and I'm itching to ramp up my game. I see all these programs that suggest hitting the gym 5 days a week, but honestly, it feels kinda intimidating. I don't wanna burn out or mess up my recovery! Should I start with that or maybe ease in with something lighter first? What's the best approach?

5 days a week? Pffft, unless you're ready to have your whole life revolve around the gym, maybe chill a bit. I once tried that and ended up so sore I could barely walk, lol. Balance is key! Pizza on Friday, lift on Saturday, right?

Jumping into 5 days can be intense, but if you feel ready, go for it. Just make sure you're tracking your volume and not pushing to failure every session. I started with a PPL routine and loved how it set me up for 5-day splits later. Just listen to your body.

Honestly, I get where you're coming from! As a busy mom, I lift 3 times a week, and that feels like a good balance for me. When I tried going 5 days, it was tough to juggle everything and I felt burnt out. Start with 3 or 4 days and see how your body responds!

If you're considering 5 days, make sure your training is periodized. i compete in powerlifting, and I train 4-5 days, but I structure it to prevent burnout. Also, don't skip deload weeks. You can push hard, but recovery can't be ignored.

Recovery is just as important as the lifting itself. Jumping to 5 days might push your limits, but if you do it, focus on proper recovery techniques. I've found that foam rolling, stretching, and even yoga really help when I ramp up my training. You want to avoid overtraining!

Facts! You gotta ease into it. I started with 4 days, and it felt like a lot. Once I adjusted, I began adding intensity, but those recovery days are golden. Also, more pancakes = more gains. Try out some protein pancakes to fuel those workouts!
