So I've been using Hevy to log my workouts and MyFitnessPal for meal tracking, but MFP's premium features are like behind a paywall the size of the Great Wall of China. Every time I try to scan something, it says 'no food found' or tries to sell me on the premium version. Like, I get it, money makes the world go round, but come on! I just want to track my gains and meals without feeling like I'm being robbed.

I tried Strong for a hot sec and it seemed chill, but idk if it pairs well with Cronometer for the food side. Anyone else feeling my pain or made the switch? Spill the tea, please!

Switching from MFP was one of the best decisions I made. The paywall is wild, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. I switched to MacroFactor and the algorithm is so much better for tracking macros. It actually adjusts based on my activity levels and goals, which is nice. If I mess up a day or two, it recalibrates instead of punishing me. I used to feel like I was on a diet, now it just feels like I'm tracking my lifestyle. Worth the $80/year, no question

Dude, i'm all for the memes, but switching apps is like switching gyms. Just gets messy. I mean, what if you don't like the vibe of the new app? Stick with what works until something truly better comes along.

Facts. i've been lifting for years and the thought of switching apps is annoying. MFP is what I know, and I've built my food list in there. Just don't like the feeling of being pushed to premium every time I scan a barcode.

It's important to remember that tracking should be about mindfulness and not stress. Maybe give Strong a shot again. It has a pretty calming interface compared to MFP's chaos. The act of logging should enhance your journey, not detract from it.

You're not alone! I went through the same thing with MFP, but I found Yazio and it's been so much better. The food database is a lot more accurate, plus the layout is easier to navigate. It's like upgrading from dial-up to fiber internet. 🙌

I get that switching apps can feel overwhelming. I'd recommend finding what features you really want before making the leap. It's like finding the right gym - the vibe matters a lot. Just don't forget to enjoy the process!

I hear you about MFP, it's getting crazy. I tried Strong for a bit, but it didn't really click with me. If you're looking for an app to log workouts, maybe give it another shot and see how it pairs with Cronometer. Just remember, life is about balance, like my dad jokes.

I feel like MFP has turned into that one friend who only wants to talk about money. Like, chill dude, I just want to track my food. I've been using Cronometer lately, and I'm loving how detailed it is. It's perfect for tracking micronutrients too.

I feel like Nutrola is the way to go for busy people. The voice logging feature makes it easy for me when I'm running between classes. Just talk to the app and boom, logged. No more typing when I'm out of breath!

As a vegan, I can't deal with MFP's inaccuracies. Switched to Cronometer and never looked back. The nutrient breakdown is on point, and I love that it includes plant-based options. Plus, the community is really supportive. Have you thought about trying it?

I feel you, man. MFP used to be my go-to until they started making everything premium. It's like trying to lift heavy with chains on your back. Now im stuck juggling my meal logs with a broken scale and a broken heart

Bruh, MFP rly be acting like a premium streaming service now 😂. I feel you, though. Have you checked out Nutrola? The photo logging is such a time saver. You just snap a pic and it tracks everything without the endless typing. Perfect for busy days when im juggling classes and meal prep.

No cap, I'm sticking with MFP. I've got my food list dialed in and changing apps sounds annoying. Like, I can deal with the occasional paywall if it means I can keep my custom entries.

Honestly, i love the data aspect of Cronometer, but if you're looking for a smoother experience, I would recommend MacroFactor. It's great for adjusting intake based on your workouts. Plus, no endless premium paywall drama.

Honestly, I'm still skeptical of these new AI trackers. Tried CalAI and it was hot trash. It couldn't recognize half my meals. I'd stick with MFP or Strong before trying another sketchy app
