**TL;DR:** Cronometer's food database is driving me nuts, anyone else feel this?

So, I've been using Cronometer for a few months now after bailing on MyFitnessPal (seriously, I was with them for 6 years, felt like a bad breakup). I love tracking my macros and all, but the food database is like that friend who says they'll come to the gym but never shows up. I swear, I searched for this one protein powder I use and it's a total ghost! Then there's the barcode scanner, sometimes it works, sometimes it's like, 'Nah, you're on your own.' I even tried Lose It! for a hot minute, but that paywall hit harder than my last deadlift session. Anyone else dealing with this food database drama, or is it just me?

Also, shoutout to DOMS for keeping me humble after leg day. If only it could log my meals too.

I just switched to Nutrola, and I gotta say, the photo log is just too easy! I can snap pics of my meals and forget about typing everything out. My friends think I'm a wizard or something, but nah, just lazy.

I totally get your frustration! I switched to MacroFactor, and honestly, the algorithm just works for me. It adjusts to my weight and activity level without me even having to think about it. Sure, it costs $80 a year, but the convenience makes it worth it for my training.

Haha, DOMS is the real MVP! But I hear you about the food database. I used to spend so much time looking for my favorite snacks on Cronometer. I finally got tired of it and just entered them manually. It's like the app thinks I'm trying to hide my chips! But that's just me.

Bro, I feel you! I switched to Cronometer and thought it would be like upgrading from a rusty bike to a supercar. But sometimes the food database feels like it's running on empty. Got a protein powder that I had to manually input too. What even is that?

Honestly, I love the food tracking aspect, but I get that it can be frustrating! Have you tried experimenting with some homemade meals? You can always input your own recipes in Cronometer and have fun with it! Plus, you get to control the macros.

The accuracy of Cronometer's database is something I appreciate, especially with all the RD-verified entries. I had a similar experience with MyFitnessPal, where half the entries are just user-uploaded junk. I switched from MFP to Cronometer, and yeah, some things are missing, but the quality makes up for it.

Honestly, trying to scan barcodes sometimes feels like it's harder than lifting weights! I mean, come on, it should just work. Stick to what you know, man, you can't go wrong with basics, right?

It's like, why even bother with the barcode scanner? It's as useless as a treadmill in a powerlifting gym. Just stick to the manual entries if it's giving you trouble. At least you'll know it's accurate, right?

Yeah, bro, it's wild. I tried using Cronometer for a bit and then switched back to MFP. I know the food list is dialed in there, but the paywall situation is a bit annoying now. I guess we're just stuck in this weird app cycle!

As a new lifter, I just love the user-friendly layout of Nutrola. I can log my workouts and meals without getting overwhelmed. Honestly, I wish I had switched sooner, but I thought I'd stick with MFP like an old habit. It's refreshing to see my progress in one app

I hear that Nutrola has some cool features! But I'm personally a little skeptical of those AI trackers. They always seem to miss something or just make me feel like I'm in a sci-fi movie. I'm good with manual entries for now.

If you're looking for something that's straightforward and doesn't break the bank, try Nutrola! I love that I can input my recipes and get the macros without all the ads getting in my way. Plus, I get to keep track of my plant-based diet without stress.
