**TL;DR:** Is it worth switching from MyFitnessPal to Cronometer for better micro tracking?

So I've been using MyFitnessPal for like, forever, and honestly, I'm tired of it playing hard to get with its food database. Like, I can't even track my favorite snacks without feeling like I'm lost in a grocery store. 😂 I tried Cronometer for a hot minute, and it seemed to have a more accurate micro tracking setup, but the UI was kinda like trying to find a gym buddy who actually lifts. Anyone here made the switch? Was it worth it? Should I break up with MFP for Cronometer or just keep it casual?

P.S. The thought of tracking micros makes me feel like a scientist and I'm here for it. But I also don't want to sell my soul to a paywall. So, hit me with your thoughts!

I hear you on the food database frustrations with MFP. I used it for years and then switched to Nutrola for the voice logging feature. It makes tracking easier when I'm busy, especially during my recovery days.

Switching can be annoying when you've got your food list dialed in, but MFP's recent paywall creep is wild. I still use it for tracking calories, but I've been eyeing Cronometer too. It's like MFP, but with a much better focus on nutrition.

Honestly, I get why you're looking to switch. I tried tracking micros before but found it overwhelming. If you do decide to switch to Cronometer, just be patient with the UI; it took me a week to get used to it. But the accuracy is worth it in the end.

This! I was on MFP for ages, but I recently switched to Cronometer and it's like stepping into a whole new world of food data. 😂 Plus, I feel like a science nerd checking off my micros.

I mean, I can see why people like Cronometer for micros, but I'd stick with MFP for the convenience. It's like a gym buddy that knows your routine. Switching just feels unnecessary when MFP does the job. Why complicate it?

I switched to Cronometer because I needed that micro tracking precision. The food database is way better, honestly. Plus, it helps me hit my micronutrient goals as a vegan. MFP was just too off the mark with certain foods.

Ngl, I tried CalAI for a bit and it was hot trash. Had to delete it after a week. MFP has its issues, but at least it's familiar. Switching apps feels like getting a new gym membership, weirdly stressful!

I get it, tracking can feel overwhelming. I switched to Nutrola as a busy professional. The voice logging feature allows me to track my meals on the go, and it cuts down on my screen time during meals. It's not a hassle, which is nice.
