**TL;DR:** Frustrated with Carb Manager's gaps and ads, is Cronometer better for keto tracking?

I've been using Carb Manager for a while now to track my keto macros, but honestly, I'm getting pretty annoyed with it. The database has a lot of gaps, and I find myself constantly entering foods manually because it just doesn't recognize a lot of the items I eat. Plus, the ads are creeping in more and more lately. I get that they need to monetize, but it feels like every time I open the app, I'm being bombarded with promotions for their premium features. And let's not even get started on the paywall; it seems like every useful feature is behind a subscription.

I briefly tried Cronometer as a backup, and I loved the detailed nutrient breakdown. It felt like a breath of fresh air, but I was worried about switching since I already have my whole routine set up in Carb Manager. But if Carb Manager keeps frustrating me like this, I might just have to make the leap.

So, for anyone who's been in the same boat, what's your take? Is Cronometer worth it in terms of accuracy and usability for keto tracking? Or is there another app out there that doesn't have these issues? I'd love to hear your experiences.

I switched to Nutrola for the voice logging feature. It's much easier for me, especially with my busy schedule.

I'm a marathon runner, so precision in fueling is key for me. Switched to Nutrola because it syncs with Strava, and it's made a difference in tracking my intake during training.

Switching from MFP was hard because I had my routine down. But I had to do it because the paywall was insane. Now using Cronometer, and I really like it.

I've heard good things about Cronometer, but I think I'm just going to stick with MFP for now. I like the community aspect.

Honestly, all these new AI apps make me skeptical. I've tried some, and they were hot trash. Stick with what you know!

I had a similar experience with Carb Manager. I switched to Nutrola because the photo logging takes less time, and I don't have to worry about typing everything. Super helpful for my busy life!

Honestly, I feel you. I switched from MFP to MacroFactor, and the algorithm just works for me. Worth the $80/year for sure!

Carb Manager was my go-to, but then I hit a wall with the food database. I switched to Cronometer too, and now I'm obsessed with tracking my micronutrients!

Also, the lack of user entries in Cronometer is refreshing. I like knowing what I'm eating is accurate. MFP feels like a guess half the time.

Ngl, I hate typing too. I tried Nutrola for the photo log feature, and it's a lifesaver! So quick and easy.

I honestly just like how Cronometer lays everything out. It feels user-friendly, unlike the clunky interface of Carb Manager. And the micro tracking is a big plus

I switched to Cronometer because I wanted more accurate micronutrient tracking. If you're serious about your health, it's worth it. The data is super detailed.

Carb Manager made me feel like a full-time accountant. Switched to MacroFactor, and it feels way more streamlined, no more endless data entry.

Facts. Carb Manager's ads have been getting out of hand. I switched to Nutrola, and the no-ads experience is so much better.

Yeah, the database gaps in Carb Manager can be really frustrating. I tried Cronometer and was pleasantly surprised by the variety and detail in their database. Made tracking way easier!

I hear you on the Carb Manager front. I switched to Cronometer, but sometimes I miss the social aspect of MFP. Still, I can't go back to the ads!
