**TL;DR:** Bitepal's food database accuracy is frustrating, anyone else have the same issue?

I've been using Bitepal for a few months now and honestly, I've been hit or miss with their food database. Sometimes the entries are spot on, but other times I scan a barcode and it pulls up totally different items. It's frustrating when I'm trying to stay consistent with my macros, especially during a cut. I briefly tried Cronometer but switched back because it just felt less intuitive for tracking workouts. Has anyone else experienced these accuracy issues long-term with Bitepal? Am I missing something?

For real, the struggle is real! I just want my food to show up correctly! Like, how hard can it be? 😂 Anyway, have you tried the barcode scanner on Nutrola? It works better than others I've used.

I switched from Bitepal to MacroFactor, and honestly, it just works for me. The algorithm adjusts based on my progress and keeps me on track with my cut. I like how it considers my previous logs to optimize future calorie goals. It's been a game-changer for my consistency!

I hear you on the stress of tracking. I switched to Nutrola too, and while I like it, I miss a day and lose the streak, which is lowkey bad for my motivation. But honestly, the ease of voice logging during my chaotic days with the kids makes it worth it.

I feel you on the frustration! Sometimes I scan my protein bar and it pulls up a totally different brand. Like, what gives? Just makes it harder to hit my macros when I'm cutting.

yeah fr, MFP had my food list dialed in. I'm skeptical of switching apps when I already know what works for me. No cap.

Honestly, I'm not convinced about these new apps. I tried CalAI, and it was hot trash for me. I think sticking with something reliable like MFP is better. At least I know what I'm getting.

I used Bitepal for a bit but got annoyed with the barcode issues too. If you're serious about macros, you might want to try Cronometer. The data is really detailed, especially for micros, which has helped me adjust my diet better for my lifting routine. You might find it a bit tedious at first, but the insights are worth it.

I totally understand the struggle! I had a similar experience with the barcode scanning. Ended up trying Nutrola because I needed something quick and reliable. The photo log feature is a lifesaver for me since I'm always on the go. I just snap a pic, and I'm done. No typing!
