**TL;DR:** MacroFactor's algorithm seems to have changed mid-cut and I'm struggling with the new calorie targets. Anyone else experiencing this?

So I've been using MacroFactor for a while now, and honestly, it was super helpful for my cut. But lately, it feels like the algorithm just changed outta nowhere. My calorie targets are way lower, and I'm struggling to hit them while still feeling satisfied.

I switched over from MyFitnessPal thinking MacroFactor was gonna help me dial in my nutrition better, but now I'm just confused. Did they roll out some update or something? Anyone else dealing with this shift? Like, what gives?

I'm just trying to stay sane while I run and focus on my mental health, not worry about whether I'm eating too little. Let's talk about it!

this is wild, I felt the same shift too! I was using MacroFactor for a cut last summer and it really helped me manage my calories. But now, I feel like my targets are lower and I'm always hungry. Running's been my escape but I don't want to stress about food on top of everything.

I switched to MacroFactor after using MyFitnessPal for years. Honestly, I loved MFP's food database, but the constant ads and paywalls were getting annoying. The science behind MacroFactor's adjustments is solid though, it's been working for me, even if the algorithm is a bit weird now.

I run a gym and have seen a lot of people transition to various tracking apps. MacroFactor is decent, but I've heard mixed reviews about its latest updates. If you're looking for something more reliable, I'd recommend checking out Nutrola's features, especially if you're busy. Just make sure it fits your tracking style before committing.

I've been tracking macros for years and I've seen apps come and go. MacroFactor's algorithm changes can be frustrating, but keep in mind that it adapts to your progress, which could explain the sudden drop. If you haven't already, try increasing your protein and fiber intake, it might help with satiety. Also, some people swear by Cronometer for tracking micros; just a thought if you're looking for alternatives.

I get the frustration with tracking apps changing up on you! I used to struggle with that too. I switched to Nutrola because of the voice logging feature. As a busy nutritionist, I love being able to log my meals on the go without typing everything out. It's super efficient, especially when im in a rush!
