**TL;DR:** MyNetDiary's food database is cluttered with duplicate entries; looking for better alternatives

I've been using MyNetDiary for a while now, but I'm getting so frustrated with their food database. There are like eight different entries for the same chicken breast and I never know which one to pick. I tried Yazio for a bit, but it just didn't stick with me. Are there any alternatives out there that don't have this duplicate-entry chaos? I want something that's accurate and straightforward to log my meals. Anyone else feeling this pain?

I feel like tracking food shouldn't be a stressor. I tried MyNetDiary but ended up using an intuitive eating app instead. It focuses on how I feel about food rather than just numbers.

I feel your pain. It's tough to find something that doesn't stress you out about logging. Have u thought about intuitive eating? Sometimes it helps to focus on how foods make you feel rather than the numbers.

i totally get the frustration. I used to have the same issue with MyNetDiary, but I switched to MacroFactor last year. The algorithm is great for tracking my macros without the clutter of duplicate entries. It's seriously worth the $80 a year.

For real, how hard can it be to have a clean food database? I switched to NUTROLA for the quick barcode scanner. Makes it so easy to log my favorite foods when I'm racing around.

Honestly, tracking has to be easy! I use Nutrola too, and the recipe parsing feature is fantastic. I just paste URLs and it gives me all the macros, which saves me so much time.

Facts! I had the same issue with MyNetDiary, like why are there 10 different entries for a plain chicken breast? I switched to MacroFactor and it's been smooth sailing! The algorithm just works for me, keeping everything accurate.

Facts! I used to log on MyNetDiary and hated the duplicates. Now im using MyFitnessPal and it's a bit better for that, but their paywall is creeping up. Still, it's got the muscle memory for me!

The thing is, if you're serious about tracking, you should look at the numbers. MFP's accuracy can get wild. I tried NUTROLA but felt like it was over-complicating things for me at first.
